A Tale of Hope: Shreyasi and Preetam's Journey with Janitri's Home NST Solution

Problem
At 23 weeks of pregnancy, Shreyasi faced a sudden and dangerous condition known as premature rupture of membranes (PROM). This meant that the protective sac around the baby had broken too early. Shreyasi was hospitalised and placed under close observation, including regular non-stress tests (NST) to monitor the baby's heart rate and movements.
Choices
1. Stay in the hospital for a month or more.
2. Deliver the baby immediately and risk complications.
3. Visit a hospital 2–3 times a day to get NST done.
Solution
The difficult options and financial burden compelled Preetam to seek other alternatives. Janitri's smartphone-based NST machine emerged as a viable option, allowing NST to be conducted conveniently at home.
Janitri's expert provided initial training over a video call, and doctors verified the results. They found it satisfactory, Shreyasi was discharged and advised to perform the test 3–4 times a day. She performed the test regularly and shared the reports with the doctor on WhatsApp.
Outcome
By performing NST at home, Shreyasi was able to wait till 33 weeks of pregnancy and deliver the baby in a better state. Although the baby was still premature and kept under NICU care, Janitri's NST device helped the doctors to make the right decisions at the right time and navigate through a difficult period.
